Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms cover Fault Line, the card game for iOS and Android published by Gamivate (“we”). By using online play you agree to them. Single player has no special rules: just enjoy it.
Who can play online
Online play lets you play with strangers, so it is meant for players aged 13 and over. Your nickname is the only thing other players see about you.
Zero tolerance for abuse
When you play online, you must not:
- use a nickname that is offensive, hateful, sexual, violent or threatening;
- harass, bully or threaten other players, or target anyone for who they are;
- pretend to be another person, or Gamivate staff;
- cheat, interfere with the game or its servers, or stall matches on purpose;
- use bots or automated tools to play or to create rooms.
Nicknames are checked automatically, but no filter is perfect. We may remove players from rooms and ban devices from online play, without warning, when they break these rules.
Report and block
Tap a player's avatar to report them or block them. Reports come straight to our team and we review them, normally within 24 hours. Blocking keeps you out of quick matches with that player. You can also email us at hussein@gamivate.io.
Matches and the computer
Each turn has a time limit. If a player runs out of time, leaves, or keeps missing turns, the computer plays for them so the match can finish. Online play needs an internet connection, and we may change, pause or end the online service at any time.
The game
Fault Line and its characters, art, music and code belong to Gamivate. You may play it for your own enjoyment; you may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer it. The game is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Privacy
What online play uses, and when it is deleted, is explained in the Fault Line privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above, and the game may ask you to agree again before you play online.
